A Baby on the Way :-)

David and I found out on July 13th that we are expecting our first child. It has been quite a journey getting here, which started out as the first reason for this blod that I started. It only took two cycles of the fertility drug Clomid to do the trick! Of course things started off rocky

Dum, Dum, Da Dum

The wedding date has been something of a challenge to nail down, with us not knowing if we want a friday night, saturday night, or sunday afternoon wedding. All of this confusion because we are not going to have alcahol at the wedding. Its just our personal choice because neither of us drink so why should that be what our wedding is about? I am just concerned because so many people have told me that if we dont have alcahol people wont stay...

Grrr...as it stands we will be having it on the weekend of December 20th, not sure which day...

Ugggghhhh...

I am not sure if all of you know but David and I have started the wonderful journey to try and have a baby. It has not been an easy road so far, but hopefully worth it. A few months ago we officially started "the workup" with my Ob/GYN Dr. Huey. Long story short, we had some tests and got the go ahead to start with a few meds. Metformin and Clomid are commonly used for my condition and our first line of defense. So on May 15th our journey began...I will spare the details but the clomid made me ovulate!! Thats a majorly big deal and such a blessing to us. Now we are in the TWW (two week wait) and waiting to see what happens...anyways we are excited.
